Bromance

A bromance is a close, non-sexual relationship between two or more men, distinguished from conventional friendships by a high level of emotional intimacy and physical closeness.

In Western society, images of such homosocial relationships are often nevertheless associated with sexuality. They do not always fit within traditional heteronormative frameworks of male friendship and are perceived as occupying a boundary zone between heterosexuality and homosexuality.

This series of images explores connection, physicality, and friendship between men, and seeks to redefine concepts of relationship, sexuality, and intimacy.
